Clayton is the county seat of St. Louis County, Missouri, and borders the city of St. Louis. Clayton was organized in 1877, and is named after Ralph Clayton, who donated the land for the city’s courthouse. As of 2010, Clayton had a population of 15,939 residents.

The Clayton Community Theatre serves as the resident community theatre company at Clayton High School. CCT’s purpose is to provide a vehicle for all members of our community to be involved in the production of top quality live theatre. Through its three annual productions and through its program of community outreach, CCT has involved hundreds of individuals in productions that have played to consistently enthusiastic reviews and crowded houses.
