American Society of Interior Designers, Missouri East Chapter, presents 2019 Pinnacle Award winning designer, Heidi Sowatsky, Associate ASID, 3rd place in Living Room Design.
“My clients had recently moved to the area from Brazil”, Heidi explains. “Their new family room was long and narrow with two focal points at opposite ends of the room: the fireplace and the television space. So, we divided the space into two separate seating areas – one for television viewing and one for relaxing by the fireplace. Both were grounded with grey upholstery and finished with pops of teal and gold. Two coordinating area rugs offer different interpretations of an abstract geometrical pattern in matching colors.”
